Do you work or own a business? Yes, I started and own The Perfect Colour by Natalie Joy, a photography editing business. I currently have 3 clients, in Schaumburg, IL; Irvine, CA; and Nashville, TN. I edit, color correct, and upload weddings, engagements, and portrait sessions for high end photographers. Im currently developing a logo, blog, and website. SOON TO COME :)

What just makes you laugh so hard? literally anything, I'm always laughing, I usually laugh so hard that tears stream down my face. :)
Is there something you have dreamed of doing for a long time? I would LOVE to visit Europe and the West Coast, and Canada ;)
What do you most value in friendships- Honesty and openness, definitely, this is the most important thing to me in relationships, that I can be myself, and if If something is wrong with the relationship we can talk about things and not just be fake with it.
What do you want to be when you grew up? A wedding planner, but Id love to have a big business with many businesses underneath it, one of them being The Perfect Colour.

Wish for this next year? to see my relationship with God, my family, and my friends continue to blossom and mature. Traveling, ALOT. Performing in several shows for school and CYT.

Was this year challenging? Definitely, this has been a maturing year for me. I've really been able to come into who I am, who I am supposed to be. Academically, spiritually, emotionally, this has been a challenging year, but looking back on this year, the different experiences that I went through only matured, pushed, and motivated me forward.
Most embarrassing moment of this past year? sending a very personal text to the wrong person!!!. Oh my gosh. :)

I could talk about weddings all the time and never get tired of it.
I have considered becoming a model. but opted for modeling for photographers instead. :)

Memories and changes this past year:
~Valeo Academys Shakespeare Festival- the highschool performed A midsummer Nights Dream, I was cast as Francine Flute/ Thisbe, it was an amazing show :)

~Vacation to Door County with the fam.
~Vacation to Nashville and Chattanooga to visit Sarah and the Pictor Family.
~Spending tons of much needed time with my cousins.
~Going to my first midnight opening night showing of a movie- the Dark Knight. SO AMAZING :)
~Spending most of the summer with Sarah's interns and developing amazing friendships with them.
~My business definitely took off, during the summer at times I had more work than I could handle.
~I took a trip with my school Valeo Academy to Washington D.C. that was definitely a blast!
~I adjusted to having my own room and living space with Sarah being gone.
~I was able to really come into who I am, what my style is, what I want to do with my life, my relationship with God, and many other things.
~Ive made several new amazing close friends, through many different ways, and strengthened old relationships.
~I'm now apart Christian Youth Theater, a highly professional Christian Theater program in our county. Mark and I were cast in CYTs play Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat so far it is the rehearsals are amazing, and I'm highly honored to be one of the 90 cast out of the 180 that auditioned. We start performing at the end of January, perform a total of 12 shows over the course of 3 weeks, and will be playing in front of a total of 7,000 people over the course of all the shows.
Most important thing you learned this year? To not care what other people think about me, to find my identity in God and not in other people or things. This was a HUGE lesson I learned this year. Also, to be genuine, honest, and open with the people I love :)
